The 8th Edition of the Ford Make It Driveable Challenge offers companies an opportunity to fast-track products to market, targeting both commercial and passenger vehicle customers.
Using Ford’s bespoke platform, selected companies will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the Ford business.

The 8th Edition of the Ford Make It Driveable Challenge offers companies an opportunity to fast-track products to market, targeting both commercial and passenger vehicle customers.
Using Ford’s bespoke platform, selected companies will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the Ford business.

​The event will take place on November 3-4 and will include :

  • Customer Clinics (for specially selected companies)
  • Master Classes
  • Mentor Sessions
  • Access to both Ford Business and Technical Experts

The submitted ideas must be applicable to our passenger, fleet and commercial vehicles and fit into the following categories :

  • Carbon Neutrality
  • ICE Transition to BEV
  • BEV Fleet Management
  • Van Related Digital Ecosystem
  • V2X
  • Voice Based Experiences
  • Wearables & Active Lifestyle
  • Journey Related Experiences & Services
    In-Vehicle Entertainment

 

Who Should Apply?

The Challenge is for European based companies interested in "getting in the car" with either a general idea for the Connected Vehicle, an idea utilizing Amazon Alexa Skills or an iOS or Android application.

 

Virtual Road Trips

A series of virtual road trips will take place to hear from the Ford team and test ideas - join the pre-challenge event by country or by focus area to learn how Ford works with startups. Some companies will be selected to pitch during these events.
